Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has embarked upon a plan to rejuvenate is retail design, which has become an age-old one. Indoor Lighting Installation

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s patent covered the indoor light installation details that consisted of wall-to-wall lighted ceiling panels, as well as, linear light troughs. The company indicated that the patent renditions were already used in new global builds. One of the first was in Brussels apart from the most recently renovated locations of Cupertino’s Campus outlet. The tech firm‘s design covered the complete ceiling of a big diffused lighting apparatus rather than the individual banks or single points of light.

The iPhone maker believes that standardized lighting offered a perfect experience to customers. That also provided a more flexible option for the company to display in the wide-open spaces. Interestingly, that was the characteristic of the new Apple Store under the guise of Angela Ahrendts, who has undertaken a big facelift of the company’s brick-and-mortar retail. Significantly, Ahrendts gave a one-hour sneak peak last Sunday at a mockup store near its headquarters. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) said that its CDO, Jony Ive, has also been involved in lending a helping hand to Ahrendts.

Dynamic Shopping Experience

The company’s objective is to offer its customers’ a dynamic shopping experience as and when they turn out to the next generation outlets. In February 2014, the iPhone maker filed for the patent covering the ceiling lighting system. However, the tech firm gave credits to its inventors Stefan Behling, James McGrath, David Nelson, Wolfgang Muller, Bernd Richter, Lorenzo Poli, Casey Feeney, Vasco Agnoli, Robert Bridger, and Jonathan Siegel.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) indicated that it would also create iBeacon hardware straight into the ceiling though it was not in the patent. The company would mount a number of electrical systems like alarms, cameras, fire suppression systems, and speakers behind the planned ceiling panels keeping them hidden from anyone’s view.
