In 2017, Jeffry Schneider, CEO and founder of Ascendant Capital, boutique consulting and customer service firm based in Austin, Texas spearheaded a community donation drive in support of the LifeWorks organization. Jeffry Schneider and his Ascendant Capital team members, along with local Austin residents, donated over 300 toiletries and care items destined for infants and toddlers belonging to families and young mothers working with LifeWorks.
The LifeWorks organization run a series of successful programs aimed at empowering the vulnerable, youth at risk, returning veterans, single mothers and young families around Austin to help them battle and overcome trauma and abuse with the goal of self-sufficiency. The advocacy organization’s programs goal is to assist young adults and families in crisis in essential areas such as education, employment and housing, in their local communities.
Thanks to Ascendant Capital’s donation drive, 312 new care and hygiene items for toddlers and infants were received by young mothers and families, improving their lives with the help, support and guidance from LifeWorks. Some of the packages delivered included cups, pillows bowls, pacifiers, teething rings, towels and diapers.
